This position will work out of the employee's home office, with minimal travel requirements. You will enjoy the freedom of working autonomously to manage your own projects.

We are hiring motivated individuals for our growing IDX, Allscripts, and information technology solutions professional services team. For a minimum of 1 year this position is based out of our Austin office. Travel to our client's facilities across the country is required. Relocation assistance is not provided. Global Works Consultants work with clients to define their needs and provide solutions that maximize their IT investments while improving the quality of their business. As a Global Works Consultant you will have the opportunity to expand your expertise in a broad spectrum of situations and on a multitude of platforms. Your analytical nature will serve you well as you work with our clients to define needs, gather data and perform solutions analyses.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Functional knowledge of at least one GE Centricity Business or Allscripts application and/or SMS, HBOC, Cerner, Epicare or other healthcare EMR/PMS solutions system; A/R, Scheduling, Managed Care or Hospital modules; and related business process
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel 80% of the time
